The Department of Art at American University encompasses the creative activities of the fine arts, painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, and multimedia; the artistic applications of design; and theoretical and historical concerns of humanistic discipline . we provide degree programs in humanistic discipline , graphic design, and studio art, also as an array of elective courses. MISSION We provide students with the tools to know the historical and contemporary criteria for the making of art works; foster rigorous and unique investigation; promote an environment of enthusiasm, dedication, and intensive effort; and prepare students for careers within the arts. The child who comes first at the district level will be given a prize of Rs. 15,000 by the government. The second number will be given Rs. 11,000 by the government and the third number will be given Rs. 5,000 by the government.

Make a drawing/painting bout your favourite hobby or activity -- reading, playing, gardening, painting, etc. -- while at home during the lockdown days. AICCC has created a new Guinness World Record as the largest activity in 2011 with a participation of 4.85 million participants from 6600+ schools. The participation in the All India Camel Colour Contest has touched the magical figure of 5 million in 2012. The success it has attained is not a fluke but a result of methodical working. Designed as per the principals of Child Art, this event has been designed in such a manner that it bestows maximum benefits to the child. This well conceived and designed activity is executed with absolute professionalism. The judging is always independent, impartial and fair, which is appreciated by all the stakeholders. Every year, the schools are invited to participate by team KC at the beginning of session. Students from pre-school to 10th are divided in 5 groups for participation. Each group gets a different exciting, relevant and positive topic every year. The students paint in school till September. The paintings are judged internally for school level and the winners move to regional level, where a penal of independent jury performs the task of judging. Finally the entries from all across the country are judged at the national level. The winners get badges at the school level, medals at the regional and trophies at national levels along with the certificate. The best performing schools are also felicitated with trophies. This contest by Khula Aasmaan is aimed at encouraging child art, child artists, student artists, young artists, youth art, art students. Khula Aasmaan is a platform for creative expression by kids, children, college students and young adults, with a special focus on underprivileged, rural, tribal and remote communities.
