After 12 years, the price of jantri has doubled in Gujarat. The government has passed a resolution in this matter today. The new prices of Jantri will come into effect from tomorrow. Due to which the farmers of Gujarat will get the biggest benefit. On the other hand, the prices of land and houses will increase drastically.
For the effective implementation of Section 32-A of the Gujarat Stamp Act, 1958 in the State of Gujarat, the Guide Line Value (Jantri) for determining the market value of immovable properties across the State is fixed periodically by the State Government. Currently, the prices of Tharavi Jantri (Annual Statement of Rates)-2011 dated 18/04/2011 mentioned in reference (1) above this section have been implemented from 18/04/2011. Sadar price has been in force for the last 12 years.

These prices have been increased in the state keeping in view the changing situation due to rapid growth and industrial, urban and rural development and economic activities in the state. It has become necessary to increase the prices of Jantri (Annual Statement of Rates)-2011 so that the development of the state continues to gain momentum and the market prices of immovable property of the citizens can be determined according to these increased prices.
Rates fixed in the State from 18th April 2011 after mature consideration by Govt. It has been decided to double from 05-02-2023. Dat. In Jantri (Annual Statement of Rates) fixed from 18-04-2011-2011, where the rate of property is fixed at Rs 100/- per sq.m., the rate has to be calculated twice i.e. Rs 200/-.
