The Gujarat Teacher Eligibility Test will be conducted for those candidates who are looking for a job in the teaching sector for the Government Schools of Gujarat state
86025 candidates have registered for this exam across the state. While the Tet Bay exam will be held next Sunday on April 23. For which 2,84,523 candidates have been registered. The State Examination Board has planned to deliver the question papers to the examination center through GPS tracking to conduct this examination in a foolproof manner.
Last October, the state examination board released the notification for TET-1 to become a teacher in class 1 to 5 and TET-2 to become a teacher in class 6 to 8. According to this notification, the period for filling the form was given from October 21 to December 5, while the state assembly elections were announced, this period was extended so that the candidates get enough time to fill the form.
A total of 10 to 12 thousand staff of teachers and employees of government and granted schools will be present during the examination for TET-1 examination. Collectors and Administration Departments have appointed observers and supervisors for each centre. No candidate or any other person is prohibited from carrying mobiles, calculators, as well as digital devices along with literature of any kind into the examination centers during the examination period.

What is the difference between TET 1 and TET 2?
TET 1 is for the candidates who want to teach students of primary level, i.e., from classes 1 to 5. TET 2 is for the candidates who want to teach students of the upper primary class, i.e., from class 6 to 8.
The examination comprises three categories: Level I: for teaching Classes I to V (PRT) Level II: for teaching Classes VI to VIII (TGT) Level III: for post graduate teaching (PGT)
