Have studied in government or aided primary schools consecutively in class 1 to 8 and have completed class 8 and the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009 (RTE Act, 2009) and the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Rules framed thereunder, 2012 under the provision of free education to the children of 6 to 14 years of age from weaker sections and underprivileged groups in independent schools within the limit of 25% of the class size in independent schools who have completed their studies from class-1 to class-8 consecutively and have completed their studies in independent schools and also the knowledge commitment of the parents of both types of students. Among the students whose income at the time of the test is below the income limit prescribed for admission under Section 12 (1) (c) of the RTE Act, 2009, meritorious students are admitted to the independent secondary schools affiliated to all the boards operating in the State in Class-9. A new 'Gyan Sadhana Scholarship Scheme' has been implemented to select such brilliant students of Gujarat state and give them scholarships to study in independent schools of their choice from class 9 to 12.
In this scheme, 25,000 new bright students are selected every year and they get Rs. 20,000 and Rs. A scholarship of 25,000 will be given. - Exam Schedule : Date : 10/05/203 It has been decided to conduct the "Gyan Sadhana Proficiency Test" for this Gyan Sadhana Scholarship Scheme by the State Examination Board. This test will be conducted as per below details.
Examination fee There will be no free for Gyan Sadhana Prakharta examination. Eligibility to appear in the test: Having studied or passed Class-8 in Government or aided primary schools consecutively from Class 1 to 8, or 25% in self-supporting schools under the provisions of Section 12 (1) (c) of the RTE Act, 2009. to the extent of the students admitted to Class-I at that time who are studying or passed Class-VIII, and in case of (1) and (b) above whose parents' income Section 12(1) of the RTE Act, 2009 The income limit prescribed for admission under (c) is currently Rs. 1,50,000 (one lakh fifty thousand) and for rural area Rs. 1,20,000 (One Lakh Twenty Thousand) students will be able to give the test. The medium of entrance examination will be in Gujarati English language. The entrance exam will have the following subjects and marks. Test Structure: The entrance test will be of multiple choice and multiple choice question (MCQ Based) format.
Children will be admitted according to merit. 3. One has to keep visiting the website http://www.sebexam.org to be continuously informed about the exam related details. 4. The application forms of this entrance exam can be filled online from http://www.sebexam.org website. 5. The details mentioned in the online application form are not verified by the State Examination Board. Therefore, the student himself will be responsible for personal information and other details. 6. For this test, the application form is filled online by the State Examination Board, Gandhinagar and if the details of the information sought by the student have been concealed or false information is found by the board, then the decision will be taken by the Chairman, State Examination Board. The decision of the Chairman State Examination Board shall be final for all examination related matters
