Regarding the payment of higher allowance for house-to-house visits made to the program for Special Brief Correction of Electoral Roll with Photo in respect of the date of qualification dated 01/01/2024.
According to the above subject, to state that the Election Commission of India, New Delhi vide letter dated 29/05/2023 dt. A special summary revision program of Photo Electoral Roll was announced with respect to the qualification date of 01/01/2024. Pursuant to which, from here vide letter dated 05/06/2023 instructions were given to the BLOs of the State to conduct house to house visits. Consequently, as per Resolution No. 05/05/2016:- ELR/1216/521/6, a higher allowance of Rs.1,000/- has to be paid for house to house visits made by BLOs during Electoral Reform Programme. .
2. Keeping in view the said details, a grant of Rs.1,000/- per article has been allotted according to the number of BLOs at that time, for the house-to-house visits conducted by the State BLOS from 21/07/2023 to 21/08/2023. Therefore, the following details are requested to inform the concerned BLOs of your district to complete the procedure for payment of higher allowance of Rs.1,000/- in the financial year 2023-24.
